10 Things I Do Everyday to Help Me Be Successful (VIDEO)

Today I am going to tell you the 10 things that I do EVERYDAY to help me be successful. I haven’t always done these 10 things but as I have become more productive and successful in my life and career, these 10 things are so important to me now! Here are the 10 things I do everyday that you will learn in the video:

  1. Wake up early for “me” time so I don’t have to rush out of the house stressed. Changing my schedule to waking up earlier was the best decision I ever made!
  2. Read a book that I am excited about for 15-20 minutes first thing in the morning (BEFORE EMAIL!!)
  3. Listen to the daily audio bible podcast. (dailyaudiobible.com)
  4. Make a smoothie.  Love my vitamix!  I make myself a smoothie everyday and it helps give me energy for the day.
  5. Work on my passion for at least an hour.  For me that is writing this little blog!
  6. I work out everyday in the morning before work. Working out in the morning gives me so much more energy! I do Insanity or P90X.
  7. I create my schedule and goals everyday before the day starts. I create my to-do list and I know exactly what I am going to do each day. I need a plan for my day.  I have a lot of deadlines and I need to focus on the things that are due today.
  8. I block out 15-30 minutes for chores everyday. I set the timer and clean up the house.
  9. Watch the Today Show every morning and get caught up on the news headlines.
  10. I make time for my husband everyday. I think it is really important to clear your schedule and have quality time with your family.

    All of these are great ideas! I already wake up early, workout in the mornings, and make a great smoothie (at least a few times a week). The ones I’m really thinking about adopting are 2 and 8. I’m especially excited about 8, and I think that if I could get my husband on board with that one, our house would always look presentable. Thanks, Anna!

  2. Oh my gosh! You are so ambitious every day. I could definitely benefit from this. I have been waking up a little bit earlier, but still not enough to leave the apartment relaxed. I really should try that. I’ve also tried to work out in the mornings. I just can’t do it. I prefer night so then I can also shower at night :) (my hair takes up to 30 minutes just to dry!) Thank you for these tips! I definitely want to get in a good morning groove :)

    Wow, how can you fit in ALL that in the morning? when do you wake up exactly? It seems like I´d need at least 2 hours to do all that in the morning – which means waking up at 4.30 am! Hehe…
