I love this story of war and peace. Destruction and reconstruction. 30% of the bombs dropped did not detonate. At the current rate of removal, it will take an estimated 800 years to clear the unexploded bombs. The people of Laos are overcoming loss and challenge and melting the remains into beautiful jewelry such as this.
