I did everything I thought I was supposed to do.

Got the degree.
Built the career.
Earned the salary.

On paper, I was successful.

But there was one problem:

I didn’t actually want the life that came with that version of success anymore.

That’s a hard thing to admit when you’ve spent years working toward it.

But changing your mind about what you want doesn’t erase everything you’ve accomplished.

Your experience still matters.
Your skills still matter.
Everything you’ve learned still matters.

For me, the answer wasn’t throwing it all away.

It was using everything I’d learned to build something different.

That’s eventually what led me to career coaching—and work that felt meaningful, flexible, and much more aligned with the life I actually wanted.

Sometimes success isn’t climbing higher.

Sometimes it’s finally giving yourself permission to choose a different ladder. 🤍

It’s been so amazing seeing the progress of our 30 coaches in our program over the last year.

Becoming a mom changed what I wanted from my caree

Becoming a mom changed what I wanted from my career.

It didn’t make me less ambitious.

I still wanted meaningful work.
I still wanted to make great money.
I still wanted to grow and make an impact.

I just wanted something else too:

More control over my time.

I wanted work that could grow around my family instead of constantly asking my family to grow around my work.

That’s one of the reasons I love career coaching so much.

I can do work that genuinely changes people’s lives AND build a business with flexibility, multiple income streams, and room for the life I want outside of work.

Motherhood didn’t make me want less.

It made me much clearer about what “success” needed to look like. 🤍
