Social media planning doesn’t have to feel overwhelming, complicated, or like a full-time job. With the right framework, you can plan an entire year of intentional content in about 30 minutes — without posting 24/7 or burning yourself out.
Welcome to Day 2 of our Launch & Plan Mini-Challenge, where we’re getting our marketing in order before life speeds up again.
If you missed Day 1, here’s the quick catch-up:
We mapped out your upcoming launch calendar and plugged everything into a simple quarterly schedule. No more guessing what offer you’re promoting or when.
Now let’s move into something that tends to intimidate people far more than it should: social media.
The goal today is simple:
Clarity over chaos.
No more posting just to post. No more trying to be everywhere. No more content guilt.
And definitely no more “I should post today but I don’t know what to say so I’ll do nothing.”
Before We Begin… a Moment of Honesty
On yesterday’s call, we ended up having the best unexpected Q&A about fear — specifically the fear of being visible online.
Someone asked,
“What if I’m not ready to go live?”
Another shared,
“I know video would help… but it feels scary to put myself out there.”
I felt that deeply.
Visibility is vulnerable, even after a decade of doing this.
This is also why I’m stretching myself by writing publicly again. I just launched a new Substack where I’m writing about motherhood, purpose, systems, routines, and what it actually looks like to build a life and business with intention. It feels new and a little uncomfortable — which tells me I’m in the right place.
Several of you asked for the link, so here it is (and thank you again for cheering me on):

DAY 2 AGENDA
Social Content That Converts
By the end of this session you’ll walk away with:
✔ a repeatable content framework
✔ a monthly posting rhythm
✔ a plan that feels doable in real life
✔ clarity about what to post and why
You do not need to post more.
You need to post with intention.
Let’s break it down.
The Only 3 Types of Content You Need
After years of testing and spending a small fortune on paid traffic, I’ve found there are only three categories that actually move the needle:
1️⃣ Connection Content
This is where you share:
-
your story
-
your mission
-
your values
-
your worldview
-
the “why” behind what you do
Connection answers this question for your audience:
“Do I like you enough to learn from you?”
People invest when they trust you.
This builds that trust.
2️⃣ Awareness Content
This creates demand and shortens your sales cycle.
Examples include:
-
myths
-
mistakes
-
frustrations
-
FAQs
-
objections
-
misconceptions
-
case studies
-
testimonials
-
client wins
Awareness answers:
“Why should I solve this now?”
3️⃣ Video + Relationship Content
This is your fastest credibility builder.
It could be:
-
going live
-
answering questions
-
talking head reels
-
workshops
-
interviews
-
trainings
People buy from people.
Not faceless brands and not perfectly curated grids.
Video humanizes you.
The 30-Minute Social Media Plan
Here’s the full process we used on the call:
Step 1: Know Your Offer (Fulfillment)
Ask:
-
What am I selling?
-
Who is it for?
-
What problem does it solve?
-
What is my next focus?
Fill this in:
My product is ______ and it solves the problem of ______.
AI can’t determine this for you. You must.
Step 2: Know Who You’re Talking To
Try these fill-in prompts:
My target market is ______ who want ______ so they can ______.
I help them ______ so they can ______.
This clarity improves everything — messaging, content, offers, sales.
Step 3: Generate a Year of Content Ideas (Fast)
Use this prompt inside ChatGPT:
“Can you share 26 common myths, problems, challenges, frustrations, tips, and how-to’s people have about ______ and getting ______?”
Then follow up with:
“Can you turn the first one into 14 post ideas with a hook, subheadline, 3 lessons, and a summary?”
Doing the math:
26 topics × 14 formats = 364 content ideas
Enough for a year without reinventing the wheel.
Step 4: Write Captions & Video Scripts
Use this structure:
-
Hook
-
3–7 takeaways
-
Encouragement
-
Call to action
This single skeleton becomes:
✔ a post
✔ a reel
✔ a carousel
✔ a live topic
✔ an email
✔ a blog
I rotate my content between:
-
educational
-
inspirational
-
personal
-
promotional
-
social proof
-
questions
Step 5: Pick One Platform + Post Daily
My recommendation for platforms moving forward:
✔ Instagram
✔ LinkedIn
✔ Podcast, Blog or YouTube
✔ Weekly email newsletter (I use Kit)
IMPORTANT:
Own your content.
Own your email list.
Do not build your business solely on rented platforms.
