There is no shortage of case studies to demonstrate how women from all backgrounds have defied narrow-minded stereotypes to build business empires from the ground up and become self-sustaining millionaires in the process. Some have taken the traditional entrepreneurial route of conjuring their own business idea while holding down another job (or multiple jobs, in some cases) and growing this into a globally successful enterprise, while others have branched into the business world after finding fame and accumulating wealth through other vocations.

This infographic from All Finance Tax profiles nine female entrepreneurs who have accrued vast wealth through their resilience and professionalism in the business world. These women have become role models for females everywhere in showing that, with the right idea and attitude, you could one day be a self-made millionaire who many others aspire to emulate.
