Becoming a mom changed what I wanted from my caree Becoming a mom changed what I wanted from my career. It didn’t make me less ambitious. I still wanted meaningful work. I still wanted to make great money. I still wanted to grow and make an impact. I just wanted something else too: More control over my time. I wanted work that could grow around my family instead of constantly asking my family to grow around my work. That’s one of the reasons I love career coaching so much. I can do work that genuinely changes people’s lives AND build a business with flexibility, multiple income streams, and room for the life I want outside of work. Motherhood didn’t make me want less.
