Growth is rarely a straight line; it is a purposeful evolution. My own career journey from the classroom to librarianship to higher education leadership has been defined by a commitment to intentional transition.

Over the past 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of managing teams of up to 50 and up to $10 million budgets. While I’ve overseen building remodels totaling 14,000 square feet to make library spaces more welcoming, my true passion is evolving organizational cultures to be more collaborative, creative, and client centered.

Inspired by John Dewey’s philosophy that we learn by reflecting on our experiences, I now help professionals navigate their own career transitions. I specialize in helping “heart-centered” professionals—teachers, librarians, and non-profit professionals—translate their expertise into their next high-impact role.

As I’ve navigated the successes and learning opportunities of significant career transitions, I’ve learned that the most important tool we have is a curious mind. I believe that your career should be as meaningful as it is successful.
