Happy Monday!
Did you do anything fun this weekend? My weekend involved an 8 mile run in preparation for a half marathon I am doing in March. Yes, I know I am crazy but I love having a goal otherwise I won’t fit exercise into my busy schedule.
I also went to San Francisco last week with my husband. I had so much fun doing some window shopping and then I fell in love with this little cafe called Working Girls’ Cafe. I am thinking that the world also needs a Classy Career Girls’ Cafe. What do you think?

I understand what you mean by trying to fit exercise into a busy schedule! I think it is great to have a goal, it is definitely more motivating that way! San Francisco sounds amazing… I used to go there when my sister lived in San Jose and I loved just walking around
Hi Rachel – San Francisco was amazing! I have never been to San Jose though. Thanks for commenting!
Props for running! I hate it so much, you’ll never find me doing even just a tiny couch to 5k!
My intention of working out more this year hasn’t gone so well yet. But today’s Chinese New Year so it’s a free pass to start over.
Hi Kim, Running is definitely not for everyone. I have to go for a long run today and I am DEFINITELY not looking forward to it. I am always happy after I do it though! Happy Chinese New Year!

Love the office style tips! I struggled so much with that as I was starting out in the work force (I actually wrote about it on my blog last wednesday!), and would dress down too much because I was young and thought it didn’t matter. Then I tried to overcompensate by dressing too old, and just felt blah and boring. I also found it hard to stand out with my work when I didn’t even feel like me. It’s taken me a while to figure everything out and get to a place that I’m happy and feel successful, but those tips are definitely something I could’ve used a few years ago! And definitely something I’ll go back to when I need a little inspiration
